Following updates and advice from the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA), Radio Blue Mountains has made the decision to remain on air to continue to provide our community with some comfort and light relief during these uncertain times.

The shows will go on! But not all of them.

Some presenters have decided to take a break from their programs and we fully support their decision. Those who wish to continue with their programs will be implementing appropriate hygiene measures; wearing gloves and disinfecting equipment in the studio while adhering to the recommended social distancing measures. No guests will be invited to do interviews in-studio at this time and the number of staff in the studio will be strictly limited.

Please know that the safety of our staff, presenters, volunteers and the wider community will remain our top priority as we continue to broadcast to you, safely and hygienically!

In the interim of some of your favourite shows being off air while COVID-19 lurks around, you will be entertained and delighted by live-to-air and pre-recorded programs provided by the Community Radio Network. This runs 24-hours a day and will fill in those spots for us, and you, dear listeners.

We will continue to monitor advice from the CBAA and health departments and will update you all of any further disruptions to service.

As always, tune in on your radio dial at 89.1FM or live stream us from our website at www.rbm.org.au or from your preferred internet radio site (we recommend radioau.net).

We really wish everyone well during these strange and tumultuous days. If you need to reach out to us, please do not hesitate to send us a message here on Facebook or flick us an email at info@rbm.org.au or even ring in on (02) 4782 4891.

Take care of yourselves and each other, lovely listeners.
